About the Role

Reporting to the Team Lead in our Customer Success Department, this is a crucial permanent role based in Chatillon, France.  We need people who have experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting and solving technical issues for customers.  If you have experience working within the Audio-Visual Industry or very similar that would be an added advantage.

In addition, we need a candidate who can showcase our new products at trade shows or demonstrations in partnership with our sales team.  We are a global company, so you’ll need to be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.  You will have a track record of being able to establish productive and professional relationships with customers and colleagues and ensure complete customer confidence and satisfaction to drive sales and support contacts for the business. 

What you’ll do

• You’ll use your transferable skills and knowledge to learn to install, configure, and provide the necessary support for our products.
• You’ll support customers through the enquiries raised on the helpdesk or by phone.
• You’ll find solutions to known issues in our knowledge base or in collaboration within the technical team.
• You’ll confirm hardware failures remotely and coordinate their replacement with the operations team.
• You’ll track new issues and escalate/report to the appropriate development team.
• You’ll keep the support portal up to date, document tickets and log solutions, including the resolve of any new issues encountered.
• You’ll showcase our new products at trade shows or demonstrations in partnership with our sales team.
• You’ll always ensure complete customer confidence and satisfaction, which in turn helps drive sales and win/retain support contracts.

About You

You will have

• A relevant technical degree obtained through an Engineering School or University.  A professional CCNA certification 640-802 is a desirable asset.  Knowledge of video compression standards such as H.264 or H.265 would also be a plus.
• Basic experience with Linux systems and web server administration
• Proficiency in a scripting language or a database
• Experience in deploying and configuring corporate networks.
• You will be passionate about providing an excellent service to customers, listening to, understanding issues, and quickly finding a solution.
• Given that we are an international Company, you will have native level French and a good level of English to be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues and participate in international trade shows.
• You will be flexible with regards to travel as occasional travel is expected.
