Who we Are

France

VITEC Paris is headquartered in Châtillon, France. Founded by its current President, Philippe Wetzel, the Châtillon office has been a core engineering centre for the company since 1988. The team in Châtillon are always looking ahead. Our encode/decode solutions are 100% hardware based for high-performance video systems. R&D and cooperative research departments continue to develop future codecs for IPTV, video streaming and digital signage solutions that help organisations harness the power of video to engage, empower and evolve.

Making a difference with green initiatives, VITEC is the first Zero Carbon MPEG company and encourages customers to buy GreenPEG™ for continued environmental efforts to reduce greenhouse gases.

USA

Between our east coast office in Atlanta, Georgia and our west coast office in Sunnyvale, California, VITEC has regional locations throughout the USA. Our office in Atlanta was recently upgraded with a complete solar panel system and continues to expand, as the US based core manufacturing and shipping hub for VITEC worldwide.

From corporate to government and broadcast, the US work force has pushed VITEC to master video technology and pioneer innovative streaming solutions, and to build a brighter video future for the world and beyond.

UK

VITEC’s UK division is based in Dalgety Bay, Scotland, a leading IPTV and digital signage provider across Europe, the Middle East and APAC. Our values and solutions have formed the foundation of a reputation which has allowed us to build a global list of recognised customers.

Already an engineering centre, Dalgety Bay is expanding to be one of two core shipping hubs for VITEC worldwide. Our reach includes a presence on every continent, providing multilingual sales and support around the world via a supportive and highly valued network of customers, channel partners and consultants.

Israel

The VITEC office in Israel plays a critical role in streaming video and software technology. With the award winning EZ TV IPTV, the talented team in Tel Aviv contributed significantly to the platform that won an Engineering and Technical Emmy Award, received at NAB 2022.

With one of the largest concentrations of video streaming and IPTV experts in our field, there is no doubt that with all the innovation and the exciting solutions we are all working on, there will be more accolades coming our way in the future.

Portugal

VITEC developers in Portugal keep the IPTV platform in the forefront of streaming video technology. Seamless integration with IP video solutions enables live TV and video to be quickly incorporated into impactful signage screens that engage, inform and entertain. VITEC's IPTV platforms offer very robust video streaming capability with minimal maintenance costs.

Germany

VITEC Germany’s team has 25 years of experience developing software for video management. Beginning with a stand-alone Media Asset Management system in the 90’s, the team integrated VOD and MAM to the EZ TV platform’s Media Library. VITEC Germany is also involved with EU funded R&D projects in AI (Artificial Intelligence) use cases and adapting AI models to specific needs. Covering the DACH region, VITEC Germany’s business development and sales team sells solutions to customers, high-end tech companies and system partners.

The VITEC office building in Germany was the first to get a photo-voltaic solar system with 236 solar panels to reduce the carbon footprint of the facility significantly. The system provides enough solar energy to run the entire data center, which includes over 40 servers, plus a lithium-ion energy storage battery to store excess power. The newest investment was made for Air-to-Air heat pumps with an efficiency of more than 400% to reduce the consumption of natural gas.

United Arab Emirates

Our new office location in Dubai has a broad sales reach with customers and channel partners throughout the Middle East. VITEC is in a unique position to provide a broad range of leading-class solutions to cater to the region.

VITEC’s Middle East team operates from multiple offices – one in Riyad, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and another in Dubai, UAE, addressing Military, Broadcast, Corporate, Health, Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment verticals.

Australia

With strongholds in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, we are excited about existing and expected growth across Australia.
