About the Role

VITEC is looking for an energetic marketing assistant to join our growing marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in marketing, including social media and event planning, then we want to work with you. This role will assist in the management of marketing operations activity under the supervision of a Senior Marketing Manager.

Your work will include planning global marketing events, preparing promotional presentations, and monitoring social platforms. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have strong multitasking and organizational abilities. In this Marketing Assistant role, you will participate as member of a team of professional, dedicated employees, managing internal and external marketing and event planning. This position must utilize skills including team-based interaction, project management, and administrative support. The successful candidate will also have strong knowledge of general marketing techniques and social media platforms.

Main duties include:

• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of department activities ;
• Support the Marketing Manager in the organization of various projects ;
• Assist in the planning and organization of marketing events ;
• Maintain spreadsheets, databases and inventories with financial and non-financial information ;
• Support and assist in the preparation of detailed promotional presentations ;
• Assisting and supporting other team members in creating content for social media platforms
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.

About You

You have an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field.

The skills required for this position are:

• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.
• Well-organized mind with a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word).
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
• Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a passion for marketing.
• Outstanding multitasking abilities.

Entry level experience with one year experience is acceptable.

Given the international environment of our company, the knowledge of technical English read, spoken and written is essential for this position.
