IT Technician
About the role
We are recruiting an IT Technician to work in the Information Systems Department. You will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, providing user support, applying the security policy and administering the systems and networks.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Hardware and software installation and configuration.
- Maintaining and updating workstations.
- Profile creation and rights management.
- User training and support.
- Incident management and resolution.
- Identifying potential threats.
- Monitoring all IT resources to keep them in operational condition.
- Monitoring servers, diagnosing and resolving network malfunctions.
The skills required for the position:
- Good knowledge of IT as a whole.
- Mastery of the main operating systems on the market: Windows, Linux, MacOS, etc.
- Good general knowledge of the major software publishers on the market and their offerings: software suites, messaging, collaborative platforms, etc.
- Technical proficiency in order to be able to detect and repair certain faults (assembling and disassembling a computer, installing software on a network, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
- Professional English.
About you
With a 2 or 3 years' higher education qualification specialising in IT, you will be starting out or have some initial experience as an IT Technician or HelpDesk Technician. You are known for your responsiveness, logical thinking and interpersonal skills.
You are autonomous, pragmatic, enjoy working in a team and have a strong ability to learn on your own, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate day-to-day contact with users.
