About the Role

VITEC is looking for a Business Development Manager, reporting to the SVP Sales for the Broadcast, Defence and Security markets. This role is based in France and will involve opening and developing new accounts by leveraging our company's specific expertise and know-how.

Main duties include :

• Define the sales strategy for the France, Belgium and Luxembourg area for VITEC products and solutions;
• Support the customer during the deployment phase in relation with the dedicated product manager;
• Continue the relationship with the customer by identifying and developing new business opportunities;
• Develop your customer portfolio;
• Analyse customer needs and devise appropriate solutions with the VITEC teams;
• You monitor your markets and ensure regular competitive intelligence;
• You report to your hierarchy.

About You

You have a technical degree in electronics or IT and networks (Bac+2). A technical background in the video world is a real plus. The MUST is to have someone with experience in the Defence and Security market. You are able to appropriate the company's offers, to include them in your presentations to prospects and customers, in your listening and understanding of the need, as well as in the formalisation of a solution proposal. You will have a real taste for winning and a desire for long-term management of your clients. You will show real autonomy, energy and enthusiasm to develop your portfolio and perform with all the means at your disposal.

The skills required for this position are :

• Ability to adapt to different markets (Defence, Security, Broadcast,...);
• Knowledge of the sale of complex solutions such as software packages or products with a long sales cycle;
• You will be able to work with large accounts as well as with integrators and partners/distributors;

You have at least 5 year’s experience. Given the international environment of our company, you have an excellent command of English to be able to participate in international trade shows and communicate with product managers.
