About the role :

As part of the Software Department based in our headquarters in France, you will work in the software development team, on media processing solutions for medical, military and industrial markets. You will develop the software components required to control our video capture and processing electronic boards and related to latest video codecs embedded in our products, focusing on performance and security.

You will be involved in a Scrum team with members from all R&D teams (Hardware, VHDL, Software, Validation, …).

What you’ll do :

• Co-Designing the software architecture of our products with our hardware team
• Ensure technical consistency across the Scrum team
• Developing the product features and associated tests in a continuous integration environment
• Debugging issues detected from verification and validation campaigns

About You :

With a degree from an engineering school or equivalent, you will have at least one year's experience in validating HW/SW systems.

The skills required for this position are :

You will have knowledge of or have experience working with:

• A solid experience as a software architect in a real-time data processing solution, involving both software and hardware components.
• Coding in C, C++, Python.
• Low level development (Driver, interruptions, register access, DMA, …)
• An understanding of video encoding/decoding and GPU programing a bonus
• An exposure to Agile development, especially Scrum

You are autonomous, pragmatic, you like to work as a team. You have strong communication skills, you enjoy sharing your knowledge and you can make convincing arguments.

As part of an international team, you speak good english.
